Draft minutes - to be approved at the next meeting

Minutes of the Planning Meeting of the Parish Council held at the Sports Field, Lenham Road, Kingswood on Thursday 11th March 2009 at 10.30am.

There were no members of the public present

Cllr Hobson opened the meeting at 10.35am

PL.43 MA/09/0163 – Chatelet, Broomfield Road, Kingswood – erection of a two storey side and single storey rear extension Councillors agreed to approve this application but requested that their concerns regarding the proximity of the extension to the neighbouring property are noted. Councillors also queried the erection of flat roofs rather than pitch roofs on the extension.

PL.44 MA/TA/0063/09 – 3 Kingsbroom Court, Broomfield Road, Kingswood – an application for consent to carry out various tree work within woodland south of 3 Kingsbroom Court, all trees protected by Tree Preservation Order No. 32 of 2002.

Councillors agreed unanimously to refuse the application to remove any trees, but were happy for the clearing and tidying up of the dead wood.

 

There was no further business; Cllr Hendy closed the meeting at 11.05am.
