Draft minutes - to be approved at the next meeting
Minutes of
the Meeting of the Parish Council held at the Sports Field,
Present:
Cllr P Coleman Cllr M Evans
Cllr B Hendy (Chairman) Cllr T Hoy (4)
There were no members of the public present.
Cllr Hendy opened the meeting at 10.05am.
Cllr Evans declared a personal & prejudicial interest in items PL 174 & PL175
The following application was discussed
PL 173 MA/09/1853 – Hunters Moon,
Erection of a two storey side extension - Approve
PL 174 MA.09/1867 – Roses Oast,
Application for listed building consent for proposed repairs and renovation as below. -Approve
PL 175 MA/09/1868 – Roses Oast,
Proposed repairs and renovation of the existing Oast including adjustments to internal layout and erection of a single storey entrance lobby, erection of an entrance canopy to the rear entrance, insertion of window to southern gable and replacement of door and screens to southern elevation. -Approve
PL 176 MA/09/1938 -
Kingswood House,
Extension and replacement of roof to allow first floor accommodation. - Approve- Councillors voted unanimously for this application to be approved but wished this application to be reported to the Planning Committee as it was felt that the replacement roof was not visually appropriate and that the applicant should be encouraged to conform to local aesthetics or be of a more innovative style. This application did not fulfil the criteria for rural housing within a rural area.
PL 177 Removal of scrub/hedging at car park, Sports Field. Cllr Coleman proposed that the area between the verge/hedging in Lenham Road and the car park at the Sports Field be maintained in its current form for the present time, this was seconded by Cllr Evans and agreed by all.
There was no further business; Cllr Hendy closed the meeting at 10.45
